The group of laureates consisted of Vadim Kholodenko (Ukraine), Daniil Shleyenkov (Belarus), Jian Liu (USA), Seiko Tsukamoto (Japan). They gave concerts in New York, Washington, Boston.

November 3-10

Concert tour to Hungary.
The group of laureates included Mariya Pukhlyanko, Elmar Gasanov, Daniil Shleyenkov, Marina Radyushina. Concerts were given in Budapest, Bonyhad, Szeged. After concert tours which had a great success the Administration of the Competition received interesting suggestions from Hungarian concert organizations concerning further creative contacts.

2000

On February 25, 2000

the concert group consisting of Grynyuk Olexandr (1997, III prize), Zubkov Byacheslav (1997, II prize), Yakovlev Olexandr (1999, II prize) and Sayamov Daniil (1997, prize-winner), assisted by the principal faculty of Rostov's conservatoire, performed a number of concerts in the Philharmony in Rostov-na-Donu, Russia. The organizers presented all the participants with the bay tree flowers with the wishes of considering achievements on their career paths

April 5-8

Viacheslav Zubkov (Ukraine), laureate of the 2nd International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, and Kenichiro Suzuki (Japan), prize-winner of International Festival "Kyiv Summer Musical Evenings", gave concerts in Donetzk, Severodonetzk and Lugansk, Ukraine.

The program included:
Chopin Concerto e-moll No.1 op.11 for piano with orchestra
Tchaikovskiy Concerto No.1 b-moll for piano with orchestra
Mozart Concerto No.23 A-dur for piano with orchestra
Piano pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninov

during the Budapest Spring Festival (Hungary)the concert of the piano music was held with Seiko Tsukamoto(Japan) and Vyacheslav Zubkov (Ukraine) - prize winners of the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz participation. In the program of the concert, being past very successfully, works of F.Chopin and S.Rachmaninov were performed

By the invitation of Cultural Center Director of Varashdin city, Professor Davar Bobitch, young pianist, prizewinner of the 2nd prize in the Junior Age Group of the IIIrd International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz - Vadym Kholodenko (Ukraine) - young, talented pianist, receptionist of the Mr. President stipendium in Ukraine, prizewinner of numerous International competitions: V.Krainev Competition (Kharkiv, 98), Competition of S.Prokofiev Homeland, (Donetzk, 99); International Competition for young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz (Kyiv, 99); S.Prokofiev Competition (St.Peterburgh, 2000). In the solo program of the concerts were performed works of Schumann, Beethoven, Chopin were played.
