Kazuhiko Nakajima

      Kazuhiko Nakajima began playing the piano at the age of 12. He studied under Mrs.Yoshie Sho, Akiko Iguchi, Yoko Ichihashi, Akiko Teranishi, Masayasu Oshima and Akiko Iguchi. He completed his studies at Toho Gakuen University and had his debut recital in 1967. The same year, he held recitals in Tacpei, Taichung, Chiayi and Tainan. 

      His students were winners in the Queen Elizabeth, Fryderyk Chopin, Clara Haskill, Maria Canals, Geneva, G.B.Viotti, R.Schumann, R.Casadesus, F.Chopin for Young Pianists in Moscow International Competitions.

      In August 1989, he performed at the Vars International Festival in France and in January 1990 held a master class at Ecola Normale in Paris. Also held a master class at Oslo University of Music in August 1991.

      In 1992, held a concert at Japanese Embassy in Copenhagen, performed at the Arles International Festival of March 1996.

      He was invited to be a juror in the 5th Mozart International Competition in Salzburg of 1991, Queen Sonja in Norway and also at the 1st and 2nd International F.Chopin Competitions for Young Pianists in Moscow of 1992 and 1996.

     At Present, Kazuhiko Nakajima is a Professor at Osaka University of Music and a lecturer at Toho Gakuen University.
