The Symphonic Orchestra

of the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine

 

   

      The Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic Society of Ukraine was created in September of 1995. Since then the orchestra has been conducting its concert activity in the main concert hall of the capital of Ukraine – the Lysenko Hall of Columns, giving in concert seasons about 50 symphonic concerts.

      Soloists taking part in the orchestra concerts are well-known musicians:E.Virsaladze, V.Krainev, N.Gutman, L.Isakadze, N.Sharkman, S.Stadler, V.Ovchinnikov, T.Grindenko and others.

      It was conducted by outstanding composers such  as K.Penderecki, R. Kofman, O.Dmitriev, M.Theodorakis, and Yu.Nikolaevsky. The Orchestra has appeared in Germany (Munich Philharmony, Berlin Philharmony, Cologne Philharmony and others), in Spain, France and Korea.

 

 

Mykola Dyadyura

(Ukraine)

 

     Mykola Dyadyura was born in 1961 in Kyiv. He received his professional musical education at Kyiv Glier State College and the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (Conducting under prominent conductor  - Roman Kofman). He studied at Tanglewood Music Center (USA) under the guidance of Seiji Ozawa and Leonard Bernstein.

     Mykola Dyadyura received International recognition in 1987 and 1988 when he became a laureate of the Ferencik International Conductors Competition in Budapest and the “Min-On” International Conductors Competition in Tokyo (4th prize and Special Prize of the Association of Japanese conductors).

     He began his conducting career as Principal Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of Omsk, the Syberial Philharmonic. From 1991 to 1996 he was the Principal Conductor of Seoul Symphony Orchestra (South Korea).

     Today Mykola Dyadyura occupies the post of Principal Conductor of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and conductor of National Opera of Ukraine.
