Nadia Sternberg graduated from Rubin Musical Academy in Jerusalem, class of Prof. Haima Olexander, then she raised her professional skills with outstanding musicians of the USA – Nadia Rosenberg and Leonard Shore, prominent US musicians.
Since 1975 she had been engaged in teaching in special piano and chamber music classes in Israel State Conservatory, was head of the Israel Organization of Musicians and Musicologist.
In 1995 Nadia Sternberg was a jury member of the 1st International Competition for
Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz and her student Shai Koen was the First
Prize winner.
In
2002 Nadia Sternberg passed away in the prime of life and enthusiasm. The memory
of her is enshrined in memory of everybody who knew, loved and respected her as
a beautiful human being, authoritative musician and sensitive master-teacher.
