Announcements of the Competition.

15 February 2001

Administration of the Competition received applications for participation in IV International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz from 182 candidates of 18 countries throughout the world: Belarus, Great Britain, Georgia, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kirgistan, China, Korea, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, USA, Taiwan, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Ukraine, Estonia, and Japan.

On January 7-10, 2001 in Lucy-Moses School (New York, USA) there was held a selection round of IV Competition for candidates from North and South America. The administration has started a selection of participants based on received cassettes.

15 November 2000

The IV-th International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz was held from 31 October till 10 November in Kyiv in nominations:

72 young pianists aged from 7 uš to 14 years from 10 countries of the world participated in the Competition,
