Dear friends! We really regret to announce the postponement of VIIIth International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz.

Due to the impossibility to hold the VIIIth International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz in April 2009, Administration of the Competition postpones the Horowitz competition in intermediate and senior groups to April 2010.

We feel sorry for many young artists who have prepared themselves for this year's Competition!

However, all applications received in 2008 are valid. The deadline for applications is prolonged to the 10th of December 2009.

The changes to the already sent application packages are acceptable.
