Virtuosos of the planet
Music Festival with the participation of the stars of performing art - laureates of the first prizes of international competitions that are the members of the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC).
Annually the Festival takes place in September in the capital of Ukraine Kyiv on the stages of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and the National Opera House of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko.
Participants' performance is accompanied by the National Honoured Academic Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (Conductor: Honoured Figure of Arts of Ukraine and Russian Federation Volodymyr Sirenko, Laureate of Taras Shevchenko National Premium of Ukraine) and Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine (Conductor: Mykola Dyadyura, Honoured Figure of Arts of Ukraine).
The Festival's programme includes classic and modern instrumental concerts, scenes and arias from operas, symphonic compositions.
In its greeting to the first Festival dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the World Federation of International Music Competitions, the President of WFIMC Marianne Granvig emphasized a significance of the new initiative of the International Charitable Fund of Vladimir Horowitz competition "...which will create an extremely useful platform for young artists, at the same time as being a showcase for the esteemed International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz, for Kyiv as a cultural centre as well as for the WFIMC".

Organizers of the Festival are the International Charitable Fund of Vladimir Horowitz Competition, Kyiv City State Administration, Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine.
International experts recognized that concerts of the International Festival "Virtuosos of the Planet" are one of the major cultural events in Ukraine.
